Summer Wildflower Tour

If you want to start a garden but don’t know how to start…

The solution is simple.

Find a flower pot or purchase a simple raised flowerbed and throw wildflowers atop the soil like a blanket. Then? Toss soil over the top of those seeds for a light covering and soak in with water Viola!

You will have the most beautiful wildflower display with minimal angst or risk in no time.

Of course you are going to have give the seeds a daily water and keep the wildlife out. There is some work involved. But I’m telling you…

It doesn’t take much at all to be a gardener.

There is no magic amount of planning, researching, or knowledge to qualify you. Simply buy the seeds. Plant the seeds. Water the seeds.

Congratulations!

You are a gardener.

And it’s not too late in the season. Wildflowers are especially hardy. They can grow in the harshest of elements. Just water liberally and know little birdies might come for a snack here or there.

So I dare you…

I dare you to hold those seeds with a kind of courage and toss them in the soil with a sense of freedom.

See what happens. Glory almost always does.

And if not?

You’re out a few dollars and you can always try again! So if you aren’t ready to buy all the gardening books and go down all the rabbit holes or face the pressure of professional gardening…then don’t.

Just plant the wildflower seeds where you are and as you are with what you have.

Let yourself be a gardener. Tend to the earth in whatever way you can and let that be enough. You don’t need to meet crazy criteria or high expectations. Throw those seeds in and see what happens.
